The OG Chapter 1 map had a total of 18 POIs across two biomes, namely, grass and desert. However, one major change that fans have noticed is how many places of interest (POIs) there were earlier on a Fortnite map.

This is mainly because some of these changes will be short-lived and will be replaced with drastically different new features in the coming weeks. Thus, many fans had their doubts about whether the map would still be exactly the same or if it would be modified to suit the current features. The Fortnite game has evolved considerably over the years since the OG map left the game.

Interestingly, the map comes with major weekly changes in this month-long season. With the launch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5, Epic Games is taking the players back in time and putting them on the Chapter 1 map. The prayers of the Fortnite fans have finally been answered with the OG Fortnite map from Chapter 1 returning to the game.
